Stellar Food Review

Editorial policy

Stellar Food Review aims to make food writing accurate, independent and clear about its limits. We explain what an article can support, distinguish description from opinion and correct errors when they are brought to our attention.

Accuracy and clarity

We check names, terminology and factual statements before publication and revise wording that could leave a misleading impression. Where a subject involves differences in ingredients, traditions or technique, we make those distinctions clear rather than forcing a single rule onto every kitchen. Our articles offer general editorial information, not professional food-safety advice.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for the reader's interest and the publication's subject. Payment, gifts or other relationships do not guarantee coverage or favourable treatment. If a relationship is relevant to a piece, we will disclose it in clear language.

Corrections

If you think something is inaccurate or unclear, contact us with the article title and the detail in question. We review correction requests and amend material when warranted, making significant corrections clear to readers rather than silently changing the meaning.

Partner material and illustrations

Paid, sponsored or partner material is identified as such, with its nature made clear near the material. Commercial relationships do not determine independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; when an illustration could be mistaken for documentary food photography, we identify it accordingly.
